A Serious Grievance Regarding Vulcan Biology

Something about Vulcan biology has been plaguing me for a while now, and I can no longer stand by silently while this travesty continues.

Vulcans have green blood.

Therefor their mucous membranes—as well as any flesh with commonly inadequate or reduced pigmentation cells—should be green.

Lips, gums, inner mouth, sinuses, nail beds, nipples, sexual organs…all should be varying degrees of green.

Yet—while we’ve admittedly never seen Vulcan sexual organs—it can be confirmed that none of these other anatomical fixtures are in any way verdant. They are all a rosy pink. And that bothers me. It’s a biological fallacy; downright illogical.

I don’t care if it was the late 1960s. My inner biology nerd demands vindication, damn it.

Edit: Someone has given me evidence of child!Spock’s blood being green and that has assuaged a portion of my nerd rage. I apologize for my error in that regard. The rest, however, remains a serious grievance.
